Product Overview

The O-ring with a FEP (Teflon) outer layer encapsulating a Solid FKM (Viton) core. The Teflon shell offers excellent chemical and temperature resistance while the FKM core provides the resiliency needed to provide effective sealing. The FKM core provides increased chemicals and compression set resistance resulting in longer lasting sealing in some applications. It acts as an excellent leak source barrier in medical equipment of Anesthesia machine. O-rings are seated in a groove and compressed between two or more parts thereby creating a seal at the interface. They are used as washers in medical equipment. O-rings are used to Ohmeda Tec 7 Isoflurane Anesthesia Vaporizer by eliminating leakage of gases.
