Product Overview

The Low Flow Connector is provided in an active Anesthetic Gas Scavenging System (AGSS). The AGSS removes vented anesthetic gases in areas like operating rooms. This removal eliminates the possible long term health hazards for the exposed medical staff. Active AGSS requires a means of suction or buildup of low pressure to remove gas mixtures. The gases flow from the filters to the Diameter Index Safety System (DISS) EVAC connector in the active AGSS interface of a breathing circuit. The low flow connector along with orifice, house adaptor kits and O-ring forms the DISS EVAC connector assembly and gases are scavenged through this assembly for disposal. The connector is made up of a brass alloy 360which is a standard alloy of copper and zinc containing about three percent lead. It has very good strength and corrosion resistance to gases and provides a leak proof gas flow.
