Product Overview

The Aluminum Air Filters are used in Vivid and Logiq systems, which have two air filters one at the rear and the other below the fans. The main purpose of the air filter is used to stop dust from entering into a system without any increase in temperature. The dust may cause for the temperature change in the system. When the temperature inside the system increase, the fan speed will increase to cool down the system. If the air filters become too dusty, a higher fan speed is required to keep the air stream at the needed level. When the fan speed increase, the fan noise will also increase. So, if the cooling air stream is insufficient to stabilize the interior temperature within the operating margin, the system will stop operating. It can be avoided by cleaning or replacing the air filters. Since this filter plays a major role in maintaining the temperature of the system, each filter is made as a depth filter with graduated fiber density. This gives the High Efficiency Particulate Absorbing (HEPA) air filter a higher holding capacity and long service life. Filter change out is clean, quick and efficient, and the long service life means the higher efficiency air filters need to be changed less often. The ultra-fine, glass-fiber medium captures microscopic particles that can easily pass through other coalescing filters by a combination of diffusion, interception and inertial impaction. It is also used to reduce the risk of dust related PC/server or system illness such as overheating, system failure and permanent data loss. These filters are being used in XF Prestige II, MR Signa HDx Twinspeed 1.5T, XM Senographe 800T, MR Signa LX MR/i 1.5T and many other systems.
