Product Overview

The Brass hexagonal Nut is used to attach the reinforcing plates over each hole pair on both the sides of the penetration panel. These reinforcing plates are secured tightly by tightening the brass nuts. These brass hexagonal screw nuts are made up of Cu, Pb, Fe and the Zn. The brass hexagonal machine screw nuts are widely used in the products like MR Signa HDi 1.5T, MR Discovery MR750w GEM 3.0T and 1.5T Signa Artist, among others. The function of these machines is to perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Computerized Tomography scan (CT) scans. If a ferromagnetic material is used in the MRI machines or a CT scan machines, it may affect the function of the machine. In order to avoid this, a material with non-ferromagnetic property must be used in these machines. The brass nuts are generally used in the areas where corrosion resistance is highly required. It also gives gold appearance. The material provides additional features like high tensile strength and machinability, it is the most preferable material in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machines.
