Product Overview
The External Radial Retaining Ring is used in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) systems. An E-Ring wraps around the shaft with the tooth like grip points that yield greater thrust load ratings and typically dig into deeper grooves than a wire ring. Crescent shape creates a low-profile shoulder for applications where clearance is at a minimum. The ring is assembled radially because of the crescent external retaining ring has a tapered section. Install the ring radially onto a shaft using an applicator. The radial assembly rings enable quicker installation than axially installed rings, but may require deeper grooves. The passivated finish enhances its natural corrosion resistance property. The clips uses tapered sections that tend to maintain circularity or possess tooth-like grip points.
