Product Overview

The Molded Plastic Reservoir with Cap & Rubber Gasket is a reservoir that is a cylindrical part used in MRI and other applications. It consists of a molded plastic reservoir, cap and a rubber gasket. The reservoir is transparent which allows to look up the water droplet level. The cap is located on the top and two outlets at the bottom of the reservoir. It is a large capacity plastic reservoir with a 280 cm³ volume. The bellows are supplied with CP2293-85 and out bellows are supplied with 4342-355. The reservoir accepts a Ø1/16" diameter hose. It is provided with a cap 4325-148 and an adaptor. The moisture barrier has to be removed, before fixing the rubber gasket between the vented cap and the reservoir. It is a RoHS compliant. The two outlets are sealed and fixed to the equipment, whereas the cap acts as a screw on the top of the reservoir to avoid the leakage from the equipment. If air gets inside the system, it affects the reservoir levels. To avoid this, the cap is emitted to make the gasket bend inwards. The cap is made by molding the plastic in round shape, which is resistance to shock and water. It is manufactured at a low cost. The Buna-N rubber gasket has a good elasticity and good non-polar solvent resistance.
