Product Overview

The Vivid 7 BEP4 BIOS is a BIOS software provided on a CD and used for Vivid 7, which is a versatile and advanced ultrasound imaging device. It is a cardiovascular ultrasound system to accurately assess cardiac anatomy and LV function with raw data image quality, high frame rates, coded octave harmonics optimized with contrast imaging, and advanced technology. Medical ultrasound images are created by computer and digital memory from the transmission and reception of mechanical high-frequency waves generated through a probe or transducer. The ultrasound waves spread through the body, producing an echo where density changes occur. The echoes return to the transducer where they are converted back into electrical signals, thus affecting the quality of images formed. The Back End Processing (BEP) is done by Basic Input Output System (BIOS) software provided on a CD. There are Compact Discs (CDs) used in the ultrasonic devices to store the system information, to upgrade the unit by an application software along with the software for back end processing. It is user-friendly and is essential for a quick functioning of the unit when started. It is highly advanced and is hence used as application software for medical equipment such as competitor-ultrasound devices along with the Vivid 7.
