Product Overview

  • The hose assembly comes as a part of the Diameter Index Safety System (DISS) module of the Breathing Gas Circuit (BGC) in an Anesthesia delivery machine. DISS provides gases required for the patient from an external outlet. Hoses are provided at the wall outlet of DISS, specific to each gas and are color coded such that they can be distinguished easily. The assembly consists of a hex nut fitting and a male fitting on either end of the conductive hose. It is made of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) without Di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) as the plasticizer, thus avoiding the side effects of DEHP on the patients and the environment. It comes into contact with gases that are less than 300 psi and are administered to the patient and despite this, it provides an efficient Performance by resisting corrosion and varying medical environments. It comes as a part of the medical equipment like S/5 Aespire 7900 and S/5 Aestiva MRI.
